Whiskey
Description
Whiskey, racing name Beat Them Java, was born in Ireland on 02 July 1998.
He last raced at Reading Stadium and has been in retirement kennels in Portsmouth ever since he finished his racing career in 2002.
He is quite a character and enjoys a fuss from the kennel staff. He has problems with his feet, but no matter how bad they are, he has never shown any aggression when kennel staff are tending to them. He enjoys the sunshine and he’s never happier than when he’s getting a fuss or some tender loving care.
Although great with people and other greyhounds, Whiskey is not at all friendly with other breeds and will act very aggressively towards them. With this in mind, Whiskey would need an experienced owner.
Although Whiskey has never experienced life in a home, he appears quite happy and settled in the kennels and the staff treat him as one of their own.
