Billie
Description
Billy and his two brothers arrived with us in December 2007, all three of them were destined to race at Harlow, but they never really got the idea, so came to the Trust to find new homes instead. Over time Billy’s two brothers, Jack and Tiny Tim went to new homes and are now settled and very happy.
Poor Billy was left behind, he suffers severe separation anxiety so was finding it very hard to find a home where someone would be with him all day to keep him company.
In March this year Billy was waiting impatiently for his usual walk when he lost his footing and came crashing down on his neck and back. Billy being Billy got back up and dusted himself down. Although at first he seemed fine it became obvious that there was something seriously wrong.
Billy’s condition meant he had to spend the next few days in the vets and we were not sure if he would ever be able to walk.
Fortunately Billy is now walking and even running, although it has left him with the now famous ‘Billy Wobble’. He is a really happy little soul but is going to need someone who understands his needs, we are sure that the very special home he will require will be found.
