With 9,000 running on the day and associated family & friends in the city, it is likely that Brighton & Hove, already one of the UK's most popular visitor destinations, will swell by over 30,000 additional visitors on race day.

The race route will take in the best of the city centre and fabulous stretches of coastal road, including panoramic views that you'd expect where the glorious South Downs meet the English Channel.

Generally, it is a fast course, held exclusively on roads and tarmac promenade.

The total distance is 26.2 miles!
